Our Purpose

The main purpose of the risk assessment study is to determine and evaluate all the factors that may affect the health and safety of the employees and to take the risks under control, taking into account the working conditions in our company, machinery and installations, raw materials used in production, chemicals and other materials used in the laboratory, as well as the dangers arising from human and organizational errors.

The second risk group is taken as a basis in the implementation of the legislation on Risk Assessment in our company.  Situations Requiring Risk Assessment

 

  • No risk assessment has been done before,

  • Purchase of a new machine or equipment,

  • Developing new techniques

  • Making changes in the work organization or workflow,

  • The introduction of new raw materials and/or semi-finished materials into the production process,

  • Entry into force of a new legislation or amending the existing legislation,

  • Occurrence of work accident or occupational disease,

  • Even if it does not result in an occupational accident or occupational disease, the occurrence of events that seriously affect occupational health and safety in the workplace, such as fire, flash or explosion.

 

Information and Data Collection

In information and data collection, the works carried out in the workplace, the duration and frequency of these works, the place where the work is carried out, by whom or by whom the work is carried out, those who may be affected by the work carried out, the trainings received, whether preliminary permission is required for the execution of the work, the machinery and equipment to be used during the execution of the work. , the operating instructions of these machines and equipment, the materials to be lifted or transported and their properties, the chemicals used and their properties, the current protection measures, the previous accidents or occupational diseases will be compiled.

 

While conducting risk assessment in our company, work is carried out with the relevant units to collect information and data within the scope of the items listed below.

 

  • Ventilation 

  • Thermal comfort conditions

  • Noise and vibration               

  • Working with vehicles which have monitor 

  • Working with chemicals 

  • Fire protection and fighting 

  • Safety in machines

  • Machine guards

  • Lifting machinery and tools

  • Electricity use and safety in electric vehicles      

  • Safety in construction works

  • Safety in lifting, transport, storage and stacking

Risk analysis

The severity of the harm, damage or injury that can be caused by the hazards identified by the risk analysis and the probability of such damage, damage or injury are determined. In the risk analysis, factors such as the number of people exposed to danger, the duration of exposure to the danger, the protection provided by personal protectors and unsafe behaviors will be taken into account.
